Who We Are

We are civically engaged Texans who are concerned with low voter turnout and decreased voter enthusiasm for participating in the Primary Election voting process, which decides who runs in the general election and which issues are the most important to winning candidates for the next 2-4-6 years.

Texas voters, who vote only in November, and those Texans who do not vote at all fail to understand the impact of Primary Elections on shaping our state’s future.

We aim to begin a movement by engaging employers, associations, organizations and community leaders from across the state to communicate why participation in Texas Primary Elections matters so more Texas voters vote in the primary elections.

Our Principles

To achieve results in a state as BIG as Texas, we are reaching out to key employers, associations, organizations and opinion leaders to help raise awareness about why March Matters.

The key principles for ourselves and our partners are that March Matters will remain:

Texas-focused

Non-partisan

No candidate endorsements

Available to the public – associations, organizations, businesses and opinion leaders – to adopt and use to encourage voter participation in the Primaries

Note, this is a primary election GOTV and not to be used for general elections.
