The basics

One thing to do right now.

November feels far off, but the most important step happens long before Election Day. If you're not registered by October 5, you can't vote, no matter what. Now is the time to make sure you and the people you know are set.

Oct 5 Registration deadline

Texas requires you to register at least 30 days before Election Day. Miss October 5 and you can't vote in November. Checking now means no surprises later.

2 min To check your status

Moved recently? Changed your name? Not sure if you ever registered? Confirming your status takes a couple of minutes now and is impossible to fix once the deadline passes.

Bottom line: The deadlines will sneak up faster than you think. Sign up for updates and we'll make sure you never miss the date that matters, starting with the October 5 registration cutoff.
