The reality

Your team is on the ballot.

Your employees live and work in Texas communities directly shaped by these races. The most important step happens long before Election Day — and most of them won't think about it until it's too late. A reminder from a trusted employer can change that.

Oct 5 Registration deadline

Texas requires registration at least 30 days before Election Day. Anyone not registered by October 5 can't vote in November — no exceptions.

Every Statewide office on the ballot

Governor, a U.S. Senate seat, all 38 congressional districts, and every statewide office are decided November 3. These races shape Texas for years.

74% Trust a known source

Of people trust someone they know over any ad, article, or algorithm when it comes to elections. You're that person.

Bottom line: November feels far off, but the deadlines that decide who can vote are closer than they look. Your employees are voters. A simple reminder from a trusted employer — not a campaign, not a partisan ad — to check their registration is one of the most effective things you can do.

Built for workplaces

Nonpartisan and employer-safe by design.

We know the hesitation. Politics in the workplace is a minefield. Midterms Matter is built specifically to eliminate that risk — for HR, legal, and leadership teams alike.

No candidates. No parties.

Every piece of Midterms Matter content is focused on participation, not persuasion. We never mention candidates, parties, or ballot positions.

Fits within HR guardrails

All content is designed to work within existing legal, HR, and communications policies. Share it as-is or adapt it to your tone — it stays safe either way.

Grounded in official sources

All dates, deadlines, and voter information link back to VoteTexas.gov. Nothing invented, nothing partisan, nothing you'd have to fact-check.

You choose how much to do

One email. A Slack post. A mention in an all-hands. There's no required level of commitment. Start small and build from there.

Many employers treat civic education as a natural extension of values like employee wellbeing, community investment, and organizational trust. Midterms Matter makes that easy to act on.

Find your lane

You choose how involved to be.

Every workplace is different. Pick the level that fits your culture, your team size, and your comfort level. Any of these makes a real difference.

Level 1 Light touch
Share the registration check

Send one message to your team reminding them to confirm their voter registration at VoteTexas.gov before the October 5 deadline. It takes two minutes and it's the single most useful thing you can share right now.
