March Matters more than you think.
Texas primary elections in March decide almost all of the candidates who take office across the state—not the November elections. We are empowering Texans to take part in the most important election and vote.

our approach
Empower Trusted Leaders Who Empower Others
March Matters takes a different approach. We start with the people and organizations voters already trust.
When trusted people and organizations share clear, factual voting information, it spreads faster and feels safer. Workplaces, congregations, associations, and community organizations become confidence builders, not political actors. This campaign doesn’t ask you to take a position. It equips you to empower others with accurate information so participation feels simple.
Participating is Easy
Follow these three simple steps to make your voice heard.
1
REGISTER
TO VOTE
Texas voter registration and ID are required, just like general election. Register at least 30 days before election day.
2
Make a
VOTING plan
Early Voting: February 17-27, 2026. Take advantage of the two-week early voting period with flexible hours and locations across Texas.
3
head to
the polls
When you arrive at your polling location, simply choose which party's primary you want to vote in. No party membership required.
Don’t Let a small group of voters speak for you
In Texas, most districts are not competitive in general elections—the primary decides who serves in Congress, the state legislature, and local offices. In the past, a small group of older voters has shaped Texas priorities. Their vote decided which issues matter and who manages the state. Your vote in the primary is the most important vote you cast in Texas.
