GENHTX + March Matters
GenHTX is a high-impact, field-tested civic engagement infrastructure anchored within Collective Action for Youth, a trusted Houston-based nonprofit with deep relationships across Harris County.
Through GenHTX, 33 BIPOC-led and youth-serving organizations work collaboratively to increase civic participation among Texans ages 18 to 35, one of the most underrepresented and high-potential voting groups in the state.
For March Matters, GenHTX represents exactly the kind of partner network required to scale nonpartisan civic education effectively and responsibly. Rather than relying on one-off outreach, GenHTX brings together organizations that are already embedded in communities, already trusted by young people, and already doing long-term relationship-based work. This creates a multiplier effect where accurate, nonpartisan election information can travel farther and land with greater credibility.
